Yes. Your phone is shipped via UPS and you will need to sign for it upon arrival.
Are credit card transactions safe? Yes. The Free Cell Phones Company uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) authentication to guarantee the confidentiality and privacy of online transactions. SSL authentication and 128-bit encryption (scrambling) ensure that your online transaction and credit card information are safe from third-party interception.
Can I keep my current phone number if I change my carrier to AT&T Wireless Services? No. When you terminate service with your original carrier, it recycles your phone number and gives it to a new customer. You will get a new phone number from AT&T Wireless Services. Congress is considering a bill that would allow consumers to keep their cell phone numbers when they change carriers, but this bill may or may not become law.
Why does AT&T Wireless Services require my Social Security number? AT&T Wireless Services uses your Social Security number and other personal information, such as your birth date, to run a credit report.
Can I activate my old phone with an AT&T Wireless Services plan? Yes you can. Bare in mind that every phone has its own seperate service and monthly service charge
Can I purchase more than one phone with an AT&T Wireless Services plan? Yes you can. Bear in mind that every phone has its own separate service and monthly service charge
Does my phone arrive ready to use? Yes. Your AT&T Wireless Services phone arrives activated, although you'll need to charge the battery for a few hours before using it. However, you can call 1.888.520.6906 to activate your phone if it is not activated when you receive it.
Does my AT&T Wireless Services phone include accessories? Yes. All AT&T Wireless Services phones come with a battery and a charger.
You will be charged taxes based on the sales tax in the state in which you activate service.
Can I change my order after it has been submitted? To change your order, contact us. Please include your The Free Cell Phones Company order number in your email.
Can I get a different phone with the same plan? Yes. You can match up any plan with any phone we carry.
How many days does it take to process my order? You should allow 7 business days for the status update. At that point you will be receiving an E-mail from us stating your application status and your UPS tracking number.
Will my phone work overseas in Germany ? You need a special phone and service hook up to do that. There are alternatives. You can call us at our customer service number. You cannot do it with your current phone
I already have an AT&T wireless account, how do I access my account online? Where do I find my Account Billing information online? Go to www.attws.com for your billing information
Why is the free offer not available to countries outside of USA? We cannot offer any wireless phone promotion outside the United States.
How do I know you received my AT&T Wireless Services order? After you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation number. With in a week The Free Cell Phones Company will send you an email confirming that your order was received. This email will include your The Free Cell Phones Company reference number, along with an AT&T Wireless Services order tracking phone number. You will later be contacted by AT&T Wireless Services.
At what point does AT&T Wireless Services check my credit report? AT&T Wireless Services runs a credit check as soon as they receive your order; it is approximately 48 hours after you have placed your order.
How does AT&T Wireless off-peak packages work? If you add an off-peak minute package to your service plan, airtime is deducted from these off-peak minutes first (whenever you make a call during off-peak hours). After you use up these off-peak package minutes, your plans included anytime minutes then apply to all airtime you use.
Do I have call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID? Yes, all newly activated phones from The Free Cell Phones Company have all these features.
Is my phone analog, digital, or both? All of our phones are multi digital network, that means it is analog, digital and pcs
Please contact the returns department to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number.
The best way to ship the unwanted phone back to us is to send it Third Class Mail from the Post Office, with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number we issue you. You will want to insure the package for the value of the phone.
Turn off your mobile phone. Call mobile number from another phone. (for example, your home phone) When recording comes up, press the # (pound key) and then it will ask you for the temporary code. This code is 1111. The recording will ask you to change your PIN number. (It can be any four to fifteen numbers of your choice.) The system will prompt you to record your own personal greeting. To retrieve messages: Call your mobile number from your mobile phone or another phone. Press # (pound key) and the PIN number you selected.
When do I get charged for roaming? Roaming is the term applied to using your wireless phone outside your local home calling area.
